I think one of the most important roles of a designer is to have “the big picture”. In the midst of a project, it can be difficult to imagine the finished product. Marcy had the vision for the final result from the beginning. She communicated with us very well and inspired confidence.

Marcy does not promote a “cookie cutter” design. She looks for the unique. She draws on a variety of sources. She takes the time to understand her clients. She used many small, woman-owned, local businesses, which we appreciated. As a result, we feel like our design reflects who we are. We also know we have a one-of-a-kind look! Marcy played a critical role in turning our house into a home. Her work creating a floor plan and 3D model of our home allowed us to visualize the possibilities for the space. As we moved on to selecting furnishings and light fixtures her models and floor plans made us infinitely more confident in our purchases knowing that everything would fit and was to scale. She’s made decorating this home a lovely experience!

Marcy was not only a breathe of fresh air with her designs but in the daily design TLC she provided. Her work was timely and she was always willing to go the extra mile with contractors on our behalf. Above everything else, she was always there to listen and provide support to not only reassure us that we were making the right decisions, but to give us a beautiful end result. Marcy led our basement remodeling project. The project was a challenge from the beginning because of our basement ceiling height in locations, but we are very happy with the end result. We added a bedroom with an egress window and attached bathroom for a guest suite along with a family room. The basement is brighter, modern and a welcoming place for our family and guests. When designing the space, she took into account the ceiling issues and with her recommendations, we found a solution that met our needs perfectly. As with any construction project, we encountered a few surprises. But Marcy helped us work through the problems and find solutions that met our needs. Best of all, the work was done on time and on budget.
