Calling all design lovers! The High Point Market, located in High Point, North Carolina, is the largest home furnishing industry trade show in the world, AND they just released their trend predictions for fall 2022.
My stance is usually to only buy what you love. I tell clients to ignore trends that aren’t authentic to their tastes and don’t stand the test of time. Nevertheless, it can also be fun to incorporate aspects of a trend that speak to your personal design aesthetic. This can keep your space updated, fresh, and interesting.
Now on to the trends!
There are 3 of them:
Entwine
casual, comforting colors and textiles, wood and woven natural materials, soothing and functional
2. Midnight-
moody, deep hues of red, blue, black and earthy tones, burnished metals and stone accents, a sophisticated feel
3. Modernity
playful pastels, glass accents, matte finishes, contemporary and energetic
