5 Easy Ways to Make Your Home Feel Like Fall
Fall is an enchanting, cozy, romantic season. The sun gets lower in the sky, everything is cast in a golden hue, and the days begin to get shorter. Autumn also provides us with an opportunity to go inward and slow down as we head into the darker months ahead. For me, this includes a glass of red wine while making dinner and listening to Billie Holiday.
Here are 5 other things to try:
1. Add cable knit and velvet throws to sofas and chairs throughout your home .
2. Light candles! Check out my friend Steph’s company, Bushyl; she has 4 delicious new scents for fall. (My favorite is Hunting Lodge). Her instagram handle is @hellobushyl.
3. Open your windows. Bring in the crisp air, and let the stagnant air out.
4. See those hydrangeas deepening in color outside your window? Cut some and put them in a vase in your kitchen, entryway, or living room.
5. Change out your front door wreath. Choose one with dried berries, grasses, flowers, and/or pumpkins.
