They’re Here! The Predicted Design Trends for 2024

I know what you’re going to say. “Marcy, you say never to follow a trend!” And you’d be absolutely correct. I favor more organic ways to gain inspiration: travel, reading, museums, nature. There is one particular trend I’m thrilled about, which aligns with my upcoming travels to New Orleans and France: Parisian Classic. I will dive into this in my next blog!

And the trends…

1. Parisian Classic

2. Scalloped, circular, curved silhouettes 

3. Darker colors for walls, upholstery, stone and wood finishes

4. Continued inspiration from nature (green, blue, wood, natural stone, sand)

5. Preference for performance fabrics remains

6. More vintage pieces! Spaces look collected rather than copied from a big box catalog.
