Cartagena: Design Inspiration
As many of you know now, we went to Colombia last month as a business “field trip” for inspiration and to source materials for remodeling. The whole thing was incredible. We had to pinch ourselves that we were truly in another continent. The food, the architecture, the music, the weather- all gorgeous.
There were several design themes I noticed over and over again:

2. Use of tile
3. Natural elements
Aren’t these photos stunning! Note I’ve upgraded my camera since then, but these pics are still pretty fantastic.
I’ve already brought these design components into my work since returning. I can’t wait to share some professional photos once the projects are completed. Next up for travel: New Orleans and France.
