How to Achieve that Elevated Bed Look for Less

Striking a balance between creating a beautiful, cozy bed and not breaking the bank is a fine line to toe. I think I’ve got a good handle on how to make this happen though; purchase mid-high range where it matters, and get the rest on amazon.

Tips for Selecting Bedding

Sheets: Amazon has highly rated luxury bamboo sheets for a reasonable price that I always steer clients towards.

Duvet: I like quality and to add depth here. Some of my favorite vendors are Coyuchi and Cultiver.

Duvet insert: I don’t buy from anywhere but Amazon. Why spend more than you need to?

Pillows: With over 230,000 reviews, these cooling pillows on Amazon are my pick. They’re supportive for stomach, back or side sleepers too.

Throw Blankets: I like cashmere, linen, and silk-cotton blends. Anthropologie, Coyuchi, and Bed Threads are my usual vendors there.

Throw pillows: Here’s a place to bring in patterns and complete a color scheme. Anthropologie and Etsy are my go-to’s.

Headboard/Bed Frames: I have a vintage headboard from Etsy that I wouldn’t trade, and I have clients that want a high end bed from Arhaus. This comes down to taste and budget.

Mattress: Casper has the best ratings around.
