A Case for Wallpapering the Ceiling
Feeling bold? How about wallpapering the fifth wall?
Designers use this technique to create dimension, texture, and excitement, and it can be done in any room. I especially like to wallpaper the ceiling of a smaller space, such as a powder room, with the same wallpaper as the walls. For larger rooms, I’ve wallpapered the ceiling while painting the walls. The options are endless.
In fact, decorating the ceiling with any form of art, be it a mural, paint, or moldings, has a long history in design and architecture.
