Kitchens: What I’m Seeing and What I’m Liking

I hate trends. I also never want to remain stuck in any style, but instead be inspired to build up and off of timeless design that feels personal.

When it comes to kitchens, here’s what I’m seeing and liking lately:

  1. Wood cabinets are back.

  2. Consistent countertop and backsplash material.

  3. Black natural stone countertops.

  4. Natural stone flooring.

  5. Statement lighting.

  6. Gas induction tops.

Can you believe wood cabinets are back? How about natural stone? In a few recent projects, I’ve worked with zellige, Spanish cotta tile, limestone. I’m thrilled to work more with natural elements and skip the expensive and manufactured look of sprayed wood and engineered stone.

Are you open to any of these incoming kitchen trends?
