Mob Wife Design Style: Straight Shooting

I’m a sucker for anything Italian. The Godfather has been my favorite movie since I was a child, along with other staples like Goodfellas, A Bronx Tale, Moonstruck and Scarface. I used to own the cd discs Mob Hits I and II and I adore Dean Martin. I’ve been to several cities in Italy and I dated a handful of Italian boys in my day. Ultimately, I appreciate this culture. Unsurprisingly, I had a good chuckle when I read about the Mob Wife design style turning up recently.

Let me explain what it is:

  1. Maximalist everything

  2. Glam and vintage rule

  3. Bold color

  4. Gold accents

  5. Lots of patterns

  6. Snakeskin and fur

  7. Rooted in European design styles (Classic, Baroque, Renaissance)

This design style is fun and brave and flashy and I love it. What do you think?
