The Frame TV: Does It Live Up to the Hype?

More and more clients have asked me about getting The Frame tv for their homes.

So what is it exactly? Essentially, The Frame is a tv that can display art when not in use for viewing. It looks like an actual framed piece of art and has a matte display. This means light reflected off of it won’t cause any glaring. Images can be changed as well. Brilliant, right? I’ve always disliked the “tv over the mantle” look, and this solves that issue.

Some pros:

  1. You can choose your own artwork or buy a subscription for artwork from The Frame.

  2. You can pick from a selection of frames to match your design aesthetic.

  3. The tv sits flush against the wall and has a low profile.

  4. Its one-connect box can be stored out of sight.

  5. Beautiful, clear picture quality.

Cons:

  1. With all the updates the company has made, the only lingering issue is the price.
